A steady, swirling snowfall dropped another half a foot of snow in Alexandria late Monday night and Tuesday, causing a lot of snow-clearing work but also some outdoor play.

Lydia Waage had fun sledding at Discovery Middle School, even though her sled got a little hung up in the fluffy flakes.
