Aces are a hit
The Alexandria Acees basketball performance team wowed its audience Monday night during halftime of the Alexandria girls’ basketball game with Marshall.

The Alexandria Aces brought the crowd to their feet during halftime of the Alexandria girls’ basketball game against Marshall on Monday night. A group of Aces spin the ball on their fingers before doing a summersault. Included in the group are Tyler Owen (front, left), Joe Gorghuber (front, center) and Bistodeau (front, right).
The Alexandria Acees basketball performance team wowed its audience Monday night during halftime of the Alexandria girls’ basketball game with Marshall.
The Aces, led by coach Larry Novotny, include sixth graders Kalley Bistodeau, Ben Corson, Joe Gorghuber, Kris Setterstrom, Grant Toivonen, Micaela Swenson, Danny Kuhn and Tyler Owen, fifth graders Kagan Foster and Matthew Vinje, fourth graders Toby Novotny, Joshua Molden, Zach Harstad, Emily Larson, Kendall Kohler, Sam Kuennan and third grader Mitchell Rice.
Novotny is assisted by Kevin Gorghuber, Rick Lenarz, David Vinje and student coach Kyle Johnson.
