Some area schools now closed
Blowing, drifting snow has caused schools around the area to close for the day.
Blowing, drifting snow has caused schools around the area to close for the day.
School districts that are closed – as of 8:50 a.m. – include Alexandria School District 206, Brandon Public Schools, Evansville Public Schools and West Central Area Public Schools. Osakis Public Schools is still on with a two-hour late start. The Lakes Area Charter School in Osakis is closed.
