Rotary provides students with dictionaries

Third grade students at Garfield Elementary School were presented with new dictionaries recently, courtesy of the Alexandria Rotary. A member of the club, Jim Bill, is shown with the students. This is the fourth year the Rotary has distributed the books. It gives away about 450 dictionaries to 3rd grade classrooms in public and parochial schools throughout the area. Rotary International has been focusing on worldwide literacy for several years.
