The 11th annual Echo Press Santa Day is scheduled for this Saturday, December 6 from 9 a.m. to noon.

Children can have their picture taken with Santa Claus for free with a food or cash donation to the Douglas County Food Shelf.

Just bring in your donation to the newspaper office, 225 7th Avenue East in Alexandria, and you will receive a free color four-by-six inch print, which will be available for pick-up by noon on Monday, December 15 at the newspaper office or during normal business hours after that date.

The photos will also appear in a special Christmas publication inserted in the Friday, December 19 edition of the Echo Press.
