Emily Thul prepared for the Alexandria Aces Basketball Performance team’s big finale as the squad spent the weekend in Wisconsin, performing for Marquette University and the Milwaukee Bucks. Thul extended the pole on which the spinning ball was perched to a height of 20 feet, then balanced the pole on her chin while continuing to spin the ball.

The Alexandria Aces Basketball Performance team traveled to Wisconsin last weekend, wowing crowds at three different venues.

The Aces performed at halftime of the Marquette men’s season opener at the Bradley Center as the 12th ranked Golden Eagles defeated Houston Baptist in front of a crowd of 14,000, which mobbed the Aces after their show, seeking autographs from the local spinners.

Saturday afternoon, the Aces were the halftime entertainment for the Marquette women’s contest against Oral Roberts University at the Al McGuire Center in front of 2,000 spectators, and on Saturday evening, they performed at halftime of the Bucks-Boston Celtics game, which drew 18,000 fans to the Bradley Center.

Next up for the Aces is their halftime performance on Saturday, November 29 at the Target Center as the Timberwolves host the Denver Nuggets.
