JV1 volleyball
The JV1 girls’ volleyball team defeated the Brainerd Warriors 3-0 on scores of 25-21, 25-11, 18-16.
Alyssa Haugen was big in the middle as she produced seven kills and three blocks.
Kelsey Sandwick and Rachel Thompson both had five kills for the night.
Quinn Kragenbring had nine set assists for the night and Laurel Thompson had five.
Defensively, Teya Burgau had 11 digs for the night.
JV2 volleyball
The JV2 girls kept their undefeated conference season going last night with a record of 9-0, winning 25-13 and 25-15.
Tennis
Brainerd edged Alexandria 4-3 for the first loss of the season as the Cardinals fnished with a 10-1 overall and 8-1 Central Lakes Conference record.

No. 1 doubles: Jina Toft-Kylee Kundt (B) def. Ashley Lund-Meg Hintzen 8-3; No. 2 doubles: Jina Toft-Kylee Kundt (B) def. Wendy Rima-Simone Okerlund 8-6; No. 3 doubles: Courtney Tusler-Sam Kletscher (B) def. Tyra Quitmeyer-Katie Basiago 8-3.
JV1 girls’ soccer
Alexandria fell 5-2 to Sartell in JV1 girls’ soccer.
The teams traded goals in the second half for the final score of 5-2.
Mo Eigen and Emily Funk again led the scoring.
JV2 girls’ soccer
The JV2 girl’s soccer team extended their record to 6-3-1 with a 5-2 victory over the home standing Sartell Sabres.
The Cards were led by Kandi McCullough with two goals and two assists.
Hannah Krivanek and Ashley Vandeveur also netted goals, while Tara Peterson and Heidi Krueger garnered assists.
Leading the defense again were Kassandra Kreise and Emi Smith.
Swimming and diving
The Alexandria Girls JV Swimming and Diving Team also lost to Tech, 113-42.
Ellen Johnson was the lone winner for the Cards as she took the 200 free (2:31.51).
Alycia Crowe scored third place finishes in the 200 IM and 100 breaststroke.
Others thirds came from Kelsey Halbur, Ashley Rabehl, and Brittany Rooney.
