Car Care Clinic offered to low-income families

The third annual Car Care Clinic in Alexandria will take place Saturday, November 1.

This community outreach event is sponsored by several area churches and businesses.

While Juettner Motors is hosting the event, other businesses are partnering to reach out to low-income families in the community.

The goal is to serve 30 lower-income families by providing quality car repair free of charge. During the past three years, this ministry has served more than 60 families in need of trustworthy modes of transportation.

The registration deadline is Wednesday, October 15.

Application forms are available at Someplace Safe, WINGS, and Lake Community Church in Alexandria or go online to the Web site www.lakecommunity.org.
