Local CEP earns performance award
Rural Minnesota Concentrated Employment Program (RMCEP) of Alexandria been recognized for excellence in performance in exceeding 18 standards and meeting one standard in its workforce development efforts at the recent annual RMCEP all-staff conference in Fergus Falls.
Rural Minnesota Concentrated Employment Program (RMCEP) of Alexandria been recognized for excellence in performance in exceeding 18 standards and meeting one standard in its workforce development efforts at the recent annual RMCEP all-staff conference in Fergus Falls.
In addition, the Alexandria staff achieved the best performance results throughout the agency in 10 of the performance standards.
The 20 performance standards are established by the state of Minnesota. Included in these standards are the percentages of clients attaining employment, retaining employment, receiving a credential and special employment or diploma rates for youth.
Clients may be enrolled in a number of employment-focused programs such as Workforce Investment Act (WIA) Dislocated Worker Program, WIA Adult Program, WIA Youth Program, State Dislocated Worker Program and Minnesota Youth Program.
Manager Julie Sachs, team leader, Karen Burr, and their staff were honored for keeping rural Minnesota strong with employment training and workforce development.
