Seminar will offer money management advice
It will address achieving personal financial stability in an upbeat, action-oriented approach that will give participants of all ages and income levels tips they can use.
The Alexandria Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with the Alexandria Technical College, invite the public to attend their upcoming “Lunch 'n Learn” seminar, Achieving Personal Financial Stability, on Tuesday, September 30, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The seminar will take place at Alexandria Technical College, Room 743A (in the new technology building on the south side of campus). Cost is $20 and includes a box lunch.
The seminar will be presented by West Central Communities Action Council and Ken Snyder and Jill Marciniak of Merrill Lynch.
It will address achieving personal financial stability in an upbeat, action-oriented approach that will give participants of all ages and income levels tips they can use.
The two-hour workshop will cover:
• A preview of author Dave Ramsey’s bestselling book, The Total Money Makeover.
• Learning about budgeting.
• Using credit wisely.
• Identifying your spending habits.
