Those interested in the outcome of two key local races in next Tuesday’s primary election won’t have to bother Douglas County election officials or wait long for the results.

They can find out who survived by going to the newspaper’s Web site, www.echopress.com, on election night.
A newspaper reporter will be at the courthouse getting the vote totals as soon as they come in shortly after the polls close at 8 p.m. (Remember to periodically refresh your browser to reload the page.)
The newspaper will report the results of two three-way races for county offices:
• Douglas County Board of Commissioners, District 1. Candidates include Terry Claggett, Dennis Nagle and incumbent Gerald Johnson.
• Douglas County Board of Commissioners, District 3. Candidates include Jeff Callaghan, Dave Erickson and incumbent Bev Bales.
