Swedberg, Conn on Dakotas Tour money list

Alexandria’s Brett Swedberg is climbing his way up the money list on the Dakotas Tour this summer after tying for seventh place at the Heart River Golf Club Pro-Am on August 10.

Swedberg shot a 67 at Heart River, five shots off the winning score of 62 carded by Ian Hessels. Swedberg also earned himself a more than $1,000 pay day at the Arrowhead Pro-Am in Rapid City on August 7-9.

He finished tied for 15th at the tournament with rounds of 70, 71 and 68 to walk away with around $1,300.

Through 13 events, Swedberg is tied for ninth place in the overall Dakotas Tour standings with 112 points. He has earned more than $14,500 on the tour so far this year.

Ryan Conn of Alexandria is also trying to work his way into the top 15 of the point standings on the tour. Conn currently sits in a tie for 16th with 98 points.

He shot a 68 at the Heart River Pro-Am to end in an eight-way tie for 12th place.
