Reigning champion Bryce Hanstad of Alexandria is tied for 37th with a 4-over-par 75 after day one of the 105th Minnesota Golf Association Amateur Championship at Windsong Farm Golf Club in Independence.
Bryce, affiliated with the Alexandria Golf Club, won the tournament last year by four strokes over Clayton Rask, who has since turned pro.
Leading tournament play is Adam Dooley of the Albany Golf Club, who shot a 2-under-par 69 in Monday’s outing.
