You know that old cell phone you're no longer using? The one that's sitting in your drawer or closet right now? It could literally save the life of one of the more than 6,000 individuals who are beaten and abused every day.

Someplace Safe is collecting cell phones through the Wireless Foundation’s “Call to Protect Shelter Help” program. The more phones collected, the more refurbished “Call to Protect” phones Someplace Safe will receive and distribute to individuals and families in need.

Drop off old cell phones at your local Someplace Safe office. In Alexandria, the address is 700 Cedar Street, Suite 237.
