Campbell to run against Westrom in House District 11A
At the recent DFL Senate District 11 convention held in Alexandria, Bruce Campbell was endorsed as DFL candidate to the Minnesota House of Representatives for Senate District 11A.
At the recent DFL Senate District 11 convention held in Alexandria, Bruce Campbell was endorsed as DFL candidate to the Minnesota House of Representatives for Senate District 11A.
The seat is currently held by Torrey Westrom, R-Elbow Lake.
Campbell lives near Alexandria on Little Ida Lake and is a bus driver for School District 206.
He is a retired electrician who previously served as the business manager and director of apprentices for the St. Paul Local 110 International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW).
As a retired, licensed electrician, he volunteers his time and talents with Habitat for Humanity, WesMin Resource Conservation and Development, and the American Red Cross (helping rebuild after Hurricane Katrina).
He is a long-time activist in the Minnesota DFL party and for the past eight years has held the position of treasurer for the Douglas County Democrats.
Campbell is a member of the NRA, Minnesota Deer Hunters Association, and the Leaf Valley Sportsmen.
