Chamber of Commerce now offers 'Wake Up After Hours'
Through member surveys the staff learned that business professionals like to network to get the word out about their business products and services.
The Alexandria Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce has been listening to their members.
Through member surveys the staff learned that business professionals like to network to get the word out about their business products and services.
To meet this need, the Chamber holds “Wake Up Alexandria” during the hours of 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. and a quarterly luncheon over the noon hour.
Recently, members showed interest in attending business networking events after their workday. One member commented, “I’m putting brown sugar on my children’s cereal in the morning and running them to school, there’s no way I can make it to a morning event. Can you provide something for members after the work day?”
“Wake Up After Hours” will run from 5 to 7 p.m. with Holiday Inn Alexandria hosting. The format will be very similar to the chamber breakfast event.
