Enjoy some full-filled family time this spring with the Alexandria Beetles and the Lakes Area Humane Society.

The Lakes Area Humane Society (LAHS) is teaming up with the Alexandria Beetles to raise money to be used for shelter repairs and maintenance.

You can help LAHS reach its fundraising goals by purchasing tickets for one or both Beetles games to be held on Friday, June 13 and Wednesday, June 25.

The June 13 game will end in a fireworks display with a "Halloween" twist in honor of it being Friday the 13th.

On June 25, the theme will be "Turn Back the Clock and Twins night." The players will be dressed in vintage jerseys and a Twins player will be visiting and available to sign autographs for fans.

Tickets are $5 and are available at the LAHS shelter and several businesses throughout Alexandria. If you are interested in reserving tickets for a group, such as a child's birthday party, give the ticket office a call. Also, blocks of tickets will be available for businesses that wish to reward staff or donate tickets for special youth programs.
