In response to requests from campers, the Minnesota State Park system will accept camping reservations up to a year in advance, beginning June 2.
When Minnesota State Parks first went to a centralized reservation system for camping and lodging, customers were able to book overnight accommodations 90 days in advance of arrival.
Later, the lead-time for making lodging reservations was extended to a year in advance. As of June 2, camping reservations also can be made a year in advance to allow longer lead-time for your vacation planning.
