The “fun weekend” event will take place Saturday, May 24 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Sunday, May 25 from noon to 4 p.m.

The public is invited to explore Erickson’s Petting Zoo – from the large farmyard to the big red barn full of animals and birds.

Barnyard animals found on the farm include pygmy goats, sheep, pot-belly pigs, miniature horses, llamas, fallow deer, rabbits and kittens.

The different types of birds include colored chickens, ducks, geese, pheasants and pigeons.

Petting zoo owners noted that there is a large farmyard for children to run around and play, and there are also swings and picnic tables available.

Miniature horse rides will also be available, along with a new inflatable bounce house and slide.

The petting zoo will also offer tractor and trolley rides around the farm.

For more information, contact Erickson’s Petting Zoo at (320) 762-0184 or (320) 491-3578.
