Missing man is found safe

A missing 19-year-old man with ties to the Alexandria area has been found safe and sound.

Tony Curt Dahlberg of White Bear Lake, who was reported missing last Thursday, was found Monday night in Franklin, West Virginia by the West Virginia State Police.

He was found with his vehicle and indicated he was fine, according to authorities.

Dahlberg, a 2007 graduate of Jefferson High School, grew up in the Alexandria area and moved to White Bear Lake last September.

After family members reported his disappearance, the police departments in Alexandria and White Bear Lake worked together on the case.

There will be no further investigation, according to the Alexandria Police Department.

Dahlberg’s mother called the Echo Press Tuesday morning with the news that her son had been found; the story had been reported on the newspaper’s Web site. She wanted to thank everyone for their prayers and concerns.
