Stop-N-Shop event helps Relay for Life

Residents are invited to stop and shop – and eat, too – during a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society’s “Relay for Life” next Thursday, February 7.
The “Stop-N-Shop” event will take place at Calvary Lutheran Church, 605 Douglas Street in Alexandria, from 5 to 8 p.m.
A $1 donation will enter you into door prize drawings. There will be a freewill offering for the food, which is being donated by Arrowwood.
About 20 vendors will be displaying products and services at the event – some items will be for immediate sale. Vendors include those in the business of arts and crafts, food, entertainment, cosmetics, jewelry and more.
All ordered items will be shipped directly to customers or a pick-up time can be arranged.
