Engaged - Messer and Swift

Kali Messer of Alexandria and Jonathan Swift of Maple Grove announce their engagement.

Kali is the daughter of John and Pam Messer of Alexandria. She is a 2005 graduate of Jefferson High School in Alexandria. She graduated in 2009 from Concordia College in Moorhead with a bachelor’s degree in biology and graduated in 2012 from the University of Colorado, Denver with a Master of Science in genetic counseling.

She currently works as a genetic counselor for Avera Medical Group in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Jonathan is the son of Greg and Cindy Swift of Maple Grove. He is a 2006 graduate of Maple Grove Senior High and a 2010 graduate of Concordia College with a bachelor’s degree in music education.

He currently works as a sales associate for Sioux Falls Ford.

A July 6, 2013 wedding is planned at Zion Lutheran Church in Alexandria, with a reception to follow at Lakeside Ballroom in Glenwood.
