Connie Loken of Alexandria has seen many different types of birds flock to her numerous feeders, but none quite as unique as two hawks that show up.

Connie Loken of Alexandria has seen many different types of birds flock to her numerous feeders, but none quite as unique as two hawks that show up.

”We have been told the smaller hawk is a sharp-shinned hawk,” she said. “He has only made one appearance to our front deck.”

The larger hawk has showed up at least five times, usually stopping to get a quick drink in the heated bird bath on the Lokens’ front deck.
