GRAVEL AND ROAD

MAINTENANCE QUOTE

Miltona Township is seeking quotes for road maintenance for approximately 38 miles of road, starting April 2, 2013 for one year. Services to include but not limited to the following; blading, spreading gravel, maintenance of the ditches, brush and shrub control and snowplowing. Roughly 6,000 cubic yards of gravel is required on an annual basis.

Quotes should be written on plain paper and submitted to Miltona Township, C/O Gravel and Road Maintenance Quote, 12710 Parview Lane NE, Miltona MN 56354, or in person on Monday, April 1st at the Miltona Community Center in Miltona at 8:00 pm. Information on the quote is to include the following:

--Description of all equipment to be used and the hourly rate for each.

--All equipment must have an hour meter to allow for verification of work.

--A certificate of liability/workman’s compensation insurance is to be attached.

--Hourly cost of person for road tour viewing

--Fuel surcharge formula or computation

--price per cubic yard of class 5 gravel

The Board of Supervisors maintains the right to accept or reject any or all quotes.
