He will speak on his struggles with compulsive gambling, time spent in federal prison as a consequence of his actions, and God’s power to help him overcome.
He said his story is one of “living in my own power to prison, from prison to promise, from promise to praise and hope in life with Jesus.”
Celebrate Recovery’s doors open Mondays at 6 p.m. for fellowship and food. Following a group celebration at 6:30 p.m., a Newcomer 101 session is offered for first-time guests. Issue-specific, open-share groups for men and women follow at 7:30 p.m., with a coffeehouse at 8:30 p.m.
Celebration Station is offered for children. It is a unique program for hurting kids with music, Bible teaching, quiet reflection and activities to tie in to what parents are learning in the adult sessions.
