Celebrate grand opening of Born Learning Trail

The Born Learning Trail was recently installed at Viking Plaza Mall in Alexandria. The trail is a place that children and parents can go to learn together.

In the trail, a series of signs will be placed on the floor in the center of the mall commons. Adults and children can walk along from sign to sign, playing and doing activities, giving caregivers an easy way to engage young children.

Viking Plaza Mall, United Way, Herberger’s, Book World, D. Michael B.’s, Glik’s, JC Penney and maurice’s have teamed up to bring this activity to the community.

A ribbon cutting and grand opening is set for March 16 at 1:30 p.m. Families are invited to come out to celebrate the trail and try it out. Refreshments will be provided.
