In At Midnight on the 31st of March, a town finds that it must be self-sustaining when the world around it vanishes; no people, no buildings, no roads. As a year goes by, the approach of its first anniversary brings with it a growing uneasiness.
At Midnight on the 31st of March takes the stage at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 8. It is directed by Ann Hermes and stars Bruce Wegner, Karen Gladen, Carrie Larson, Bob Sievers, Ben Klipfel, Kevin Lee, Dedra Zwieg, Mike Roers and Jon Provance. Bob Piotrowski will play the keyboard, with Hilary Ninman providing sound effects. The show’s sponsor is realtor Sheryl Bakewell.
ON THE AIR
City of the Dead is a melodrama of duplicity. It is a confection of venality spiced with a few twists and a couple of shocks. Tune in to KXRA, 1490 AM on Sunday, March 10 at 12:30 p.m.
Written by Chicago playwright Dave Finney, it was directed by Kevin Lee and starred Quincy Roers, Kent Garlinghouse, Sharon Thalmann, Tom-E-Lee, Lindsey Johnston, Gary Lund, Mike Roers and Scott Giannone.
Music is by Bob Piotrowski, with Caroline and Scott Giannone on sound effects. Sponsoring the show is realtor Sheryl Bakewell.
