District 206 students compete in Buckle Up and Be Creative contest
District 206 schools recently participated in a Buckle Up and Be Creative duct tape contest, with prizes awarded to 1st-3rd grade and 4th-6th grade.
District 206 schools recently participated in a Buckle Up and Be Creative duct tape contest, with prizes awarded to 1st-3rd grade and 4th-6th grade.
Students were able to show off creativity by crafting a belt made entirely out of duct tape, newspaper and cardboard.
The winners are as follows:
Lincoln Elementary School in Alexandria – Madeline Boe, 1st grade; Mae Schuler, 2nd grade; Emma Hochhalter, 2nd grade; Tyler Jabas, 4th grade; Kodi Bundermann, 6th grade; Bryce Brooks, 6th grade.
Voyager Elementary School in Alexandria – Grace Wink, 2nd grade; Zaven Noetzelman, 2nd grade; Alexia Taylor, 4th grade; Claudia Kuhlman, 6th grade.
Woodland Elementary School in Alexandria – Elle Heydt, 1st grade; Hailey Brittin, 1st grade; Ashton Schlosser, 2nd grade; Brennan Parker, 4th grade; Mariah Kershaw, 5th grade; Kendra Hardy, 6th grade.
Garfield Elementary School – Adam Miller, 1st grade; Emma Reineke, 4th grade.
Carlos Elementary School – Johnathyn Karl, 2nd grade, Aiden Kluver, 4th grade.
Miltona Elementary School – Faith Zigan, 3rd grade; Lynnea Luepke, 6th grade.
