Lenten fish fry
Friday, February 22: St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church in Lowry will have a Lenten fish fry from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the church basement. The menu will include breaded fish, baked potatoes with toppings, coleslaw, baked beans, French bread, relishes, cookies, bars and beverages. Adults are $8.50, children 6-12 are $5, and children 5 or younger are free.
Meatball dinner
Sunday, March 3: First Lutheran Church of Kensington is hosting its annual homemade meatball dinner with mashed potatoes, gravy, sides and desserts from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
