'Simon the Waiter' to be presented

Chester A. Riley always has his foot in his mouth. Either that or he is involved in some misstep or another. This Friday, February 22 at 7 p.m. on the LAT stage, he will be at it again in Simon the Waiter.

Lakes Area Theatre (LAT) in Alexandria is offering the following productions this week:

ON STAGE

Chester A. Riley always has his foot in his mouth. Either that or he is involved in some misstep or another. This Friday, February 22 at 7 p.m. on the LAT stage, he will be at it again in Simon the Waiter.

Reprising their roles as the Rileys are Joe and Sue Korkowski, with Kip Sundlee returning as Digger O’Dell. Joining the cast in this comedy directed by Mike Roers are Lindsey Johnston, Quincy Roers and Jamie Sandberg. Bob Piotrowski is on keyboard, and Sandberg will provide sound effects.

ON THE AIR

LAT will present two short love stories, Rendezvous with Tomorrow and The Sunny Morning, on KXRA 1490 AM on Sunday, February 24 at 12:30 p.m.

The first is about a gravely ill woman who receives her most fervent wish. In the second story, two former lovers are reunited after many decades at first unbeknownst to the other.

Directed by Christy Meier, the shows share the following cast and crew: Keri Mohror, Sharon Thalmann, Paul Schoenack and Kent Garlinghouse. Bob Piotrowski provided music with Kent Garlinghouse on sound effects.
