As the Minnesota FFA Foundation prepares to celebrate 60 years of building partnerships, all current and past Minnesota FFA Foundation board members are invited to the 2013 State FFA Convention, April 28-30 at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.

As the Minnesota FFA Foundation prepares to celebrate 60 years of building partnerships, all current and past Minnesota FFA Foundation board members are invited to the 2013 State FFA Convention, April 28-30 at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.

“The Foundation’s success in providing resources to FFA programs has been through the results of many individuals who have helped grow the family of supporters,” said Ken Goulart, Minnesota FFA Foundation Board Chair. Current and past Foundation board members will be recognized during convention activities on Monday, April 29. Individuals who served on the Foundation board are encouraged to contact Val Aarsvold for additional details of the celebration activities.

Established in 1953, Minnesota’s FFA Foundation is one of the oldest state FFA foundations in the country. It has played an important role of providing funds for state FFA programs and events. The traditional role of providing award recognition for FFA members has continued over the years. Recently, the foundation has provided resources to organizations with the common mission of serving young people through agricultural education. These organizations work together to serve over 25,000 students in Minnesota schools.

Minnesota FFA will again live stream the convention, allowing individuals to watch from their home or office. Convention sessions will be available for viewing at www.ihigh.com/mnffa during the convention, April 28-30.
