Zion Lutheran School to hold kindergarten roundup

Zion Lutheran School in Alexandria will host a kindergarten roundup on Tuesday, February 26 at 6:30 p.m. at the school. Parents and their children are invited to attend.

The roundup is an opportunity to meet the kindergarten teacher and aide, tour the facilities and receive information about kindergarten at Zion. While the parents talk with the teacher, the children will meet in the kindergarten room to engage in activities planned especially for them.

Zion’s kindergarten program is a part-time, Monday-Wednesday-Friday full-day program. Hours for the class are 7:50 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The class is taught by a certified teacher with the assistance of a full-time aide. Busing to and from school for those in the district is provided by Alexandria School District 206.

Registration information packets are available at the school, 300 Lake Street, or by calling (320) 763-4842, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Registration will be accepted at the roundup the evening of February 26, and registrations can be brought to the school during office hours beginning on February 27.
