Caitlyn Bower of Alexandria was named to the fall 2012 chancellor’s list at the University of Minnesota, Rochester for earning a 3.666 or higher grade point average and completing a minimum of 12 credits.

The following students were named to the fall 2012 dean’s list at Bethel University in St. Paul for earning a grade point average of 3.6 or greater.
Alexandria: Joseph Ferguson, junior, son of Tim and Jean Ferguson; Alicia Montbriand, senior, daughter of Bob and Cynthia Montbriand; Reggie Ronning, senior, son of David and Susan Ronning; Valerie Smith, senior, daughter of Brent and Sally Smith.
Nelson: Shauna Walter, senior, daughter of Mike Olson and Toni Bartone.

Johnson tours with Concordia choir
Senior Hannah Johnson, a communication-mass media major, is touring with the Concordia Choir from Concordia College, Moorhead. The choir’s 2013 tour includes performances in Des Moines, Iowa; Kansas City, Missouri; Houston, Texas; and more. Johnson is the daughter of Darrin and Michelle Johnson of Idaho Falls, Idaho. She graduated from Jefferson High School in Alexandria.
