Letter - The Earth will not continue like this forever; God will remake it

To the editor:
Several letter writers in your paper proclaim that global warming or climate change is man-made. God is the one who created all that there is. The universe was put in place by Him and everything continues to work as He made them to. We can’t save ourselves or save Earth. He is in control. God’s power keeps everything working.
The Bible tells us that the Earth will not continue like this forever. God will bring judgment on the Earth because of sin. God has a timetable. What He wills will be done.
The next major event in biblical prophecy is the return of Jesus Christ in the air to take those who have believed in Him to Heaven; those who have already died and those still alive. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)
Those left behind will face the judgments from God, given in Revelation. Many more will believe during seven years of tribulation and many will die because of their faith. Many others will still refuse to believe and obey God. I challenge you to read Revelation to see that it is true.
God will remake Earth and Jesus Christ will rule for 1,000 years. Satan will be locked up during that time. At the end, he will be released and will deceive many with his lies. After the final battle, when Satan and his army are defeated, Satan will be thrown into hell forever.
