Douglas Scientific was nominated in the category of innovation, which features criteria involving significant innovation in new products, green initiatives, technological advancement and production increases.
Since its inception in 2009, Douglas Scientific has experienced growth with its Array Tape Platform in the field of laboratory automation technology.
The development and creation of disruptive technologies catapulted Douglas Scientific into the global market, growing from three employees to 80. It built additional facilities in the Alexandria community and expanded instrument deployment from one country to 14 across several continents.
Results of the company’s successes include rapid job creation, community development and philanthropy in Minnesota and across the globe.
