Thank you, Representative Franson, for helping us understand the essentials of being middle class.

Thank you, Representative Franson, for helping us understand the essentials of being middle class (commentary: Middle class can’t afford these taxes; Echo Press, February 8, 2013, Page A5).
I didn’t realize these essentials included subscriptions to morning newspapers, lunching at restaurants, memberships in gyms, digital downloads and manicures. I’ll add these to my food, clothing and shelter list.
