Dummer completes student teaching
Carrie Dummer of Alexandria, an early childhood education major at Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshal, completed her student teaching this semester. She was placed in 1st grade with classroom mentor Leah Kellen at the Parkers Prairie School District. Student teachers must maintain a 2.8 cumulative grade point average, have completed 90 credits toward their teaching degree and have successfully completed all their core coursework.
