Outstanding senior citizen sought
Do you know a senior citizen who volunteers to make the community a better place? Nominate them for the Outstanding Senior Citizen honor, to be awarded during the Douglas County Fair.

Nominate them for the Outstanding Senior Citizen honor, to be awarded during the Douglas County Fair.
Nominators are encouraged to get more information about their nominee by interviewing them or talking with people who work alongside them.
Religious organization involvement will only be considered when it benefits the community.
The nominee’s volunteer service must be accomplished after reaching age 65, and the volunteer work must be unpaid and demonstrate commitment to the community.
Nominees must be 70 years old by June 1.
