Alexandria boys' hockey: Fast start leads to easy CLC win
The Alexandria boys’ hockey team got a much-needed win last Thursday night in a 5-1 game against River Lakes.
The Cardinals never left this one in doubt. They led 4-0 after two periods before adding another in the final frame to put the finishing touches on the win.
Jack Wensman led the offense with two goals. Ryan Marciniak, Brady Bast and Patrick Leary each added another. Aaron Steidl, Chris Leary, Levi McFarlane and Marciniak all added assists as well.
Ben Allen was tough in net, stopping 35 of the 36 shots he faced to secure the win.
