Holly Van Kempen had half of those points with 19. No other players finished in double figures as Tiana Christenson had eight and Kylee Fernholz finished with five.
“Tonight’s game was an improvement upon how we’ve been performing,” head coach Beth Hanson said. “We took care of the ball better, resulting in fewer turnovers. We also did a pretty good job on defense, focusing on their strong post players. The second half was better than the first. We can continue to work on executing our offense and understanding game situations.”
