Alexandria School District 206 will host kindergarten registration events for parents with a child ready to attend kindergarten in the 2013-14 school year.
To be eligible to enter kindergarten for the 2013-14 school year, a child must be 5 years old by September 1. The All Day Every Day kindergarten program will be the program provided for all kindergarten students in District 206. This program is free and will be offered at all six District 206 elementary schools: Carlos, Garfield, Lincoln, Miltona, Voyager and Woodland.
If the school offers two dates and/or times, attend either one. Special presentations are planned at each of the elementary school sites, and registration and other materials will be made available to parents. Kindergarten eligible children do not need to attend this first meeting; they will be invited to other planned activities prior to the start of school.
