The “Understanding Communication and Challenging Behaviors” Alzheimer’s disease education session has been rescheduled to Friday, February 8 at 1:30 p.m. at Ecumen Bethany Community in Alexandria.

This session is designed to teach how people can adjust their communication style to accommodate the changes that occur in the brain as Alzheimer’s disease progresses. This is especially pertinent information for a caregiver or individual that works or knows a person with Alzheimer’s disease.

Jess Steinbrenner, regional care consultant for the Minnesota North Dakota Chapter of Alzheimer’s Association, will present.

The public is welcome to this free session. For more information, contact Randee Hall at (320) 763-2192 or randeehall@ecumen.org.
