Johnny Rawls, the Mississippi Soul Blues Man, will return to the Forada Bar and Grill on Saturday, February 2 from 8 p.m. to midnight.
Rawls is a recording artist with 40 years’ experience in the industry. He has played with some of the biggest legends in the business, like ZZ Hill, Little Johnny Taylor, Joe Tex and O.V. Wright.
A vocalist, songwriter, guitarist, arranger and producer, Rawls often tours across the U.S. and to worldwide audiences, from Europe, Japan and Australia.
Rawls has been on the cover of Living Blues Magazine, had multiple articles in publications worldwide, received the Critics’ Choice Award for Best Album of the Year three times from Living Blues, and has been the recipient of many nominations and awards.
In addition, Rawls was honored, along with Soul Blues legends Little Milton and Tyrone Davis, with a Blues Trail Marker at the original site of the Hi-Hat Club in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
