Online Chamber area event calendar free to use

The Alexandria Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce’s online event calendar at www.alexandriamn.org is available free of charge for anyone to use to announce their upcoming events.

Businesses, churches, nonprofits, service groups and others are encouraged to post happenings.

The events posted on this calendar are also gathered weekly and e-mailed to about 1,000 Chamber-related e-mails. The Chamber website had more than 126,000 visitors in 2012 who sought information about the community, including events.

To list an event, go to www.alexandriamn.org and click on “Event Calendar.” Follow the instructions for entering event information.

All submissions are subject to Chamber approval. Therefore, they are not immediately available for viewing.
