Hanson attends Farm Bureau meeting

Gerald Hanson of Parkers Prairie in East Otter Tail County attended the American Farm Bureau Federation (AFBF) annual meeting in Nashville, Tennessee, January 12-16.

“Participating in the American Farm Bureau annual meeting was a great way for me in agriculture to get together and share ideas with other farm bureau members from across the country,” Hanson said.

Hanson farms corn, soybeans and hay.

More than 50 Farm Bureau members from Minnesota were among 6,000 Farm Bureau members representing each state and Puerto Rico at the AFBF annual meeting.

The meeting featured workshops and seminars, as well as the national resolutions session that set policies for the upcoming year.
