ADA grant meeting offered to arts groups

An informational meeting about Americans with Disabilities Act Accessibility Improvement Grants for Lake Region Arts organizations will be held on Thursday, February 14 from 2 to 3 p.m. at Alexandria Area Arts Association in Alexandria.

An informational meeting about Americans with Disabilities Act Accessibility Improvement Grants for Lake Region Arts organizations will be held on Thursday, February 14 from 2 to 3 p.m. at Alexandria Area Arts Association in Alexandria.

Nonprofit arts organizations in Becker, Clay, Douglas, Grant, Otter Tail, Pope, Stevens, Traverse and Wilkin counties are eligible.

Attend the meeting to learn how arts organizations can use this grant to help support activities that serve more people with disabilities. The maximum grant is $8,000. The deadline is May 3.

VSA Minnesota administers the grants for the Lake Region Arts Council using dollars made possible by the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
