Girls' basketball: Minnewaska falls to Paynesville

Minnewaska made a nice comeback in the second half to tie its game with Paynesville and send it to overtime, but the Bulldogs were able to edge the Lakers 41-38.

Sydney Joos had 20 points to lead all scorers on the night, but the Bulldogs had a pair of players in double figures as Erika Schlangen and Bryanna Burg each had 12.

Minnewaska will host Benson tomorrow night, Thursday.
