'The Burning Court' to hit the stage
Ted Covington has stumbled across something disturbing about his young, beautiful wife, Marie, while reading “The Affair of the Non-Dead Woman,” by author Gaudan Cross.
Lakes Area Theatre (LAT) in Alexandria is offering the following productions this week:
ON STAGE
Suspense thriller The Burning Court will take the LAT stage on Friday, January 18 at 7 p.m. Ted Covington has stumbled across something disturbing about his young, beautiful wife, Marie, while reading “The Affair of the Non-Dead Woman,” by author Gaudan Cross.
The questionable death of his uncle makes him even more suspicious of his wife. All the suspects are gathered in the Covington’s elegant home to hear Cross deduce the situation and reveal the murderer.
The show is directed by Sharon Thalmann and stars Paul Schoenack, Kevin Lee, Becky Byrne, Scott Giannone, John Thalmann and Karen Obermiller.
ON THE AIR
The northern lights bring with them some curious visitors and different effects to the two men studying them in a remote location in this week’s LAT radio show.
Northern Lights can be heard on Sunday, January 20 on KXRA 1490 AM at 12:30 p.m. The show was directed by Mary Pohl and stars Al Senstad, Bruce Wegner and Haley Wegner. Music was arranged and performed by Dedra Zwieg, with Daniel Roers doing sound effects.
