Class to share quilters' stories

Have you admired that quilt’s beauty but wondered about the story that goes along with it?

Have you admired that quilt’s beauty but wondered about the story that goes along with it?

In Community Education’s “Quilts and their Stories,” Carol Mihalchick, owner of Just Like Grandma’s in Osakis and organizer of Quilts Along the Trail, will bring a collection of quilts for the public to look at. She will share the quilter’s story told with the creation of each quilt.

For those with a quilt and a story, bring it for the discussion following the presentation.

The class is Monday, January 28 from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at Grand Arbor Community Room in Alexandria. The class is $13.

Register at (320) 762-3310 or www.alexandria.thatscommunityed.com.
