2012 Minnesota business filings up 18 percent
The Minnesota Office of the Secretary of State reported this week that 60,827 new businesses were filed in 2012.
The Minnesota Office of the Secretary of State reported this week that 60,827 new businesses were filed in 2012. This is an 18 percent increase over the previous year and the second highest number of new filings in our state’s history.
"New business filings reflect Minnesota’s great business climate," said Secretary Mark Ritchie. “As our economy continues to improve in 2013, new business filings will remain strong.”
